Hi! My name is Hanako and I’m the owner, designer, seamstress, and CEO of Mizuchi Swimwear LLC. 11 years ago, Mizuchi Swimwear was born from the desire to own designer bikinis that I couldn’t afford at the time. Since I already knew how to sew and crochet, I taught myself to replicate a very popular design by a famous (and expensive) brand and my love for making swimwear took off!

Throughout the years, I have made sustainability my number one priority for my brand. I am a tree hugger, nature-lover, ocean fanatic. Therefore, I couldn’t be just another company contributing to global warming and ocean pollution. That’s why I love focusing on handmade, small batch, made-to-order styles of production. There’s no waste, no pollution, no unethical work environments, just plain and simple handmade creation like the olden days!
